What is the CDCP?

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), funded by the federal government, aims to alleviate the cost of dental care for Canadians who do not have dental benefits and whose annual net income is below $90,000.

This program encompasses a wide range of dental services, covering preventive, diagnostic, restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, periodontal, and oral surgery needs.

At Wexford Dental, we're proud to support the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) in Scarborough, designed to assist eligible Canadians by covering essential dental services. Learn about how you can benefit from this program and the simple steps to get started.

Why Apply for the CDCP?

Comprehensive Coverage

Unlike OW, ODSP or Healthy Smiles Ontario, the CDCP covers a wider range of treatments—including root canals, crowns, emergency procedures and more—so you get full-spectrum dental care without gaps.

Significant Cost Savings

Reduce your out-of-pocket expenses on everyday checkups and advanced procedures, so you can focus on your smile—not the bill.

More Generous Annual Benefit Limits

Say goodbye to tight provincial limits. With higher yearly coverage amounts under the CDCP, you can tackle routine checkups and major restorative work without constantly worrying about hitting a cap.
